Abstract


Introduction: Public health is a discipline that focuses on populations and aims to prevent, promote, and protect health and well-being of individuals and communities. Different factors have limited the effectiveness of public health to achieve their goals. New perspectives to strengthen public health have been recommended.


Objective: To examine and describe concepts and strategies of people-centered public health.
