Publication of New issue Vol 2, No 3 |
|
We are delighted to announce the publication of the current issue, Volume 2, No 3. Regular articles and specific contributions range across the spectrum of person-centred medicine, health promotion and care. By neglecting the human dimension of illness modern western medicine has , as Editor in Chief Andrew Miles says, “ventured dangerously close to the point where the patient is seen as part of the disease, rather than the disease being seen as part of the patient” . This issue includes important contributions from the Mayo Clinic, Harvard Medical School, Yale University School of Medicine , University of Melbourne and health experts from all over the world. The invitation to the Sixth Geneva Conference on Person-centered Medicine (Apr 27th-May 1st 2013) can be downloaded from the IJPCM website. Organized by the International College of Person-centered Medicine, the Conference has as its main theme Person-centered Health Research. |
